Cathy Kim Sew Foo Kune, Secretary General of Mauritius National Federation, has been elected as an Executive Board member of the Mauritius National Olympic Committee for the 2025-2028 mandate.

Each member of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Mauritius could nominate a candidate for a specific position. For Sport Climbing, the position was that of a board member.

In total, eight candidates were in the running for this position, and four members were to be elected by vote from the 30 NOC members. MSCF Secretary General was elected as one of those four, thus joining the Executive Board.

Kim Sew Foo Kune commented: "It is a true honour to join the Executive Board of the Mauritius Olympic Committee. I am fully committed to contributing to the development of sport in Mauritius and to promoting Olympic values across all disciplines. This also allows me to better promote climbing in Mauritius, increase its visibility, and help grow the sport on the island."
