This year’s sixth Youth European Cup was the last in the Boulder discipline.
The Youth European Cup Series 2025 made its latest stop in Sukoró, Hungary, on 14 and 15 June, bringing together 168 climbers from 26 nations.
TEAM GERMANY LOCKOUT PODIUM
The event finished with both familiar and new faces on the podiums, and highlights included an all-German podium in the men’s U19 final, and Adrian Kathan of Austria returning to the top spot after previously winning the event at the Youth European Championships in Curno, Italy.
PAST MEDALLISTS RETURN
Carolina Gradaschi of Italy took gold in the women’s U17 event, while returning finalist Rafael Kazbekova of Ukraine continued her consistent season, finishing second and winning her fourth medal of the season. Neža Zajc of Slovenia and and Moreno Ghilardi of Switzerland also added another medal to their 2025 collection.

The Youth European season will now shifts its focus to the Lead discipline, with events planned in Bologna, Italy; Žilina, Slovakia; Imst, Austria; and Toulouse-Tournefeuille, France.
