More than 250 young climbers gathered in the Austrian city for the second Youth European event of the season.
The second IFSC Youth European Cup of 2025 took place in Graz, Austria, on 3 and 4 May, welcoming 253 climbers from 30 nations, including representatives of Australia and South Afirca.
A legendary stop in the Youth continental circuit, Graz served as the final test before the upcoming Youth European Championships in the Boulder discipline, set to take place in Curno, Italy.
Lou Aclair and Lilian Bonniot took two golds for Team France; Team Austria celebrated a home win in the men’s U17 event thanks to Adrian Kathan; and Israeli climbers won another gold with Tamar Cohen in the women’s U19 final, adding it to the one secured by Alma Sapir at the previous Youth European Cup in Soure, Portugal.

All eyes now turn to Curno, Italy, where this season’s first IFSC Youth European Championship will take place from 15 to 18 May. The biggest youth Boulder event of the year will be followed by the third and final European Cup in the discipline, taking place in Molde, Norway, on 24 and 25 May.
