This year's fifth Boulder World Cup competition heads back to the city of the IFSC Climbing World Championships 2023
The IFSC Climbing World Cup Bern 2025 is the 411th Climbing World Cup event in history, featuring the 157th Boulder World Cup competition for both female and male athletes. Also, it is the 24th Climbing World Cup held in Switzerland, and the second in Bern - the first was in 2008.
A total of 170 – 79 women and 91 men – are registered to compete, representing 41 countries and territories from all five continents.
ATHLETES’ HIGHLIGHTS
Three of the Boulder medallists at the IFSC Climbing World Championships 2023 that were held in Bern will return to the city for the World Cup: South Korea's Dohyun Lee, and France's Mejdi Schalck and Oriane Bertone.
Belgium's Chloe Caulier and Japan's Nonaka Miho are the most experienced climbers in the women's competition both having competed in 54 Boulder World Cups and set to take part in their 55th.
For the men, Japan's Narasaki Tomoa is the most experienced looking set to compete in his 58th with South Korea's Jongwon Chon just behind and set to appear in his 53rd.

THE PROGRAMME
The programme of the IFSC Climbing World Cup Bern 2025 will open on Friday, 13 June with women's qualification at 9:00 (UTC+2:00) and men's qualification at 15:30. Women's Boulder semi-final and final are scheduled for Saturday, 14 June, respectively at 10:00 and 17:00, while the show will close on Sunday with the men's Boulder semi-final and final, also set to start at 10:00 and 17:00.
