In second half of the opening competition day at the IFSC World Cup Kranj 2021, three climbers secured the highest hold in both qualification routes, claiming the highest possible score and finishing tied in 1st place: Italy’s Laura Rogora, South Korea’s Chaehyun Seo, and Japan’s Mei Kotake.

Led by Tokyo 2020 Olympians Mia Krampl and Janja Garnbret, the Slovenian home team placed seven athletes in the semi-final – including the 2019 Lead bronze medalist in Kranj, Lucka Rakovec.

The semi-finals and finals of the IFSC Lead World Cup in Kranj will be live streamed on the IFSC YouTube channel. Semi-finals will start at 9:00 AM (UTC+2:00), while the women’s final will kick off at 6:00 PM, followed by the men’s one.
