WHERE TO WATCH THE IFSC EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN MOSCOW
Following a three-month hiatus from international Sport Climbing competitions, the IFSC European Championships 2020 are set to commence this weekend in Moscow, Russia.
From November 21-28, the Russian capital will host Championships in the three individual Sport Climbing disciplines of Speed, Boulder and Lead, with the competition culminating in a Combined battle for two Tokyo Olympic positions.
Live coverage of each of the three disciplines can be found on the Olympic Channel, who as usual will broadcast semi-finals and finals.
Speed finals are scheduled to take place on 21 November at 6:30 PM (UTC+3:00), with Boulder semi-finals on November 23 at 11:00 AM and finals later the same day, from 4:45 PM. Lead semi-finals begin at 11:00 AM on November 25, and finals will take place on the same date at 7:00 PM.
Thanks to a number of deals secured by the IFSC, TVP of Poland will broadcast an IFSC competition for the first time, with BBC Online in the UK, Israel’s Sport5, Slovenia’s RTV, SRG of Switzerland, and ZDF/ARD in Germany also covering the competition.
