European Championships Munich 2022

In 2022, Munich (GER) will play host to the 2nd edition of the European Championships, which will bring together the existing championships of nine of the continent’s leading sports into one multi-sport event to create a must-watch, must-attend experience that elevates the Champions of Europe. Europe’s best athletes will once again be competing for the highest accolade of their sport on the continent – the title of European Champion. The European Championships Munich 2022 Sports Programme will feature more than 4,400 athletes, 158 medal events, 50 participating nations, 16 disciplines, 12 European championships, 11 days of competition and 9 Olympic sports, all part of one multi-sport event. The four Sport Climbing disciplines of Lead, Speed, Boulder and Combined will feature in the event, with 300 athletes from 42 nations competing. 


The World Games Birmingham 2022

The 11th edition of The World Games will take place from 7-17th July 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. 

Three Sport Climbing disciplines - Boulder, Lead and Speed - will be showcased during the event, with 12 athletes per discipline/gender invited to attend.


ANOC World Beach Games Qatar 2019

A global multi-sport event, the inaugural ANOC World Beach Games Qatar 2019 took place in Doha from 12-17th October 2019.

Designed to connect new sports and rising stars with a youthful generation of sports fans, the Games featured skilled performances from 1,240 athletes, representing 97 countries across 14 different disciplines. Boulder featured in the first edition of the Games from 13-14th October.


The World Games Wroclaw 2017

The World Games 2017 took place in Wroclaw (POL) from 20th - 30th July.

In 2017, Boulder made its debut at The World Games. Previous editions of the event included only Lead and Speed.

72 Sport Climbing athletes from 23 countries were registered to compete in the event.


The World Games Cali 2013

The World Games 2013 was held in Cali, Colombia, from July 25th - August 4th.

Speed and Lead were included on the programme.


The World Games Kaohsiung 2009

Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei, hosted The World Games 2009. The event took place from July 16-26th.

Speed and Lead were included on the programme.


The World Games Duisburg 2005

Sport Climbing made its World Games debut at The World Games 2005 in Duisburg, Germany, which was held from July 14-24th.

Speed and Lead were included in the event programme.
