FUJII AND ONDRA LEAD THE WAY INTO THE MEN’S SEMI-FINAL IN MEIRINGEN
The highly anticipated first Boulder World Cup since 2019 kicked off in the Swiss alpine village of Meiringen this morning, with the men’s qualification round opening the competition.
In a field of 101 athletes, Japan’s Kokoro Fujii and Adam Ondra of the Czech Republic came out on top at the end of the first round, having both secured four tops and five zones. Home favourite Sascha Lehmann of Switzerland narrowly made the semi-final, topping two boulders in the tricky qualification round.
