The European Union (EU) has opened applications for all Erasmus+ Calls.
These initiatives are mainly directed to organisations based in EU Member States, although associated partners do not always have the same requirements, in any case they could provide interesting opportunities for you or your national members.
Please find below an overview of the individual calls.
Application Deadline: 21 February 2023, at 5:00 PM.
Eligible Organisations: 1 single applicant + 14 associated partners coming from 14 different EU Member States (as well as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia).
Duration: usually between 12 and 18 months.
Available grant: between EUR 1 million and 2 million. The grant awarded may be lower than the amount requested. The grant will be budget-based, with actual and unit costs as well as flat-rate elements. It will support certain types of eligible costs actually incurred for the projects. The costs will be reimbursed at the funding rate fixed in the Grant Agreement (80%). Financial support to third parties is not allowed. Volunteer and SME costs are allowed.
Location: within the participating countries.
Application:
Description: Event must showcase a minimum of 10 different sports.
Application Deadline: 22 March 2023, at 5:00 PM.
Eligible Organisations: at least 4 organisations from minimum 3 countries, out of which at least 1 organisation from 2 different EU Member States (as well as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia) and at least 2 organisations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and/or Montenegro; the number of organisations from EU Member States cannot be higher than the number of organisations from the latter countries.
Duration of the project: 1, 2 or 3 years.
Available grant: between 100,000 and 200,000 EUR (maximum 80% of the total budget, i.e. own contribution from IPC would be minimum 20% of the project budget).
Location: The activity must take place in the countries of the organisations participating in the activity or at EU institutions.

Description: Project activities must focus on building and strengthening the capacities of sport organisations and principally in the above-mentioned four countries. Funded projects will be able to integrate a wide range of cooperation, exchange, communication and other activities including for example:

Application: Proposals shall include a specific section with the distribution of tasks and EU grant among partners. The timeline for implementation of each project activity and the deadline for the production of project deliverables shall be indicated as well. Applicants must split the project activities in “work packages”. Each work package shall be linked to specific objectives, and applicants must identify a set of quantitative and qualitative indicators allowing to assess the level of achievement of those objectives.

Eligible Organisations: Main applicant must be any organisation established in a EU member state (as well as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia). As a general rule, Cooperation Partnerships target the cooperation between organisations established in EU Member States However, organisations from any third country worldwide (except Belarus and Russian Federation) can be involved as partner, if their participation brings an essential added value to the project and as long as the minimum participation from three organisations from three different EU Member States is fulfilled. No maximum number of partners.
Duration: Between 12 and 36 months.
Available grant: Applicants will choose between the 3 pre-defined amounts according to the activities they want to undertake and the results they want to achieve:
Location: All the activities must take place in the countries of the organisations participating in the project, either as full partners or as associated partners. In addition, if duly justified in relation to the objectives or implementation of the project, activities can also take place at the seat of an Institution of the European Union; Activities involving sharing and promotion of results can also take place at relevant thematic transnational events/conferences.

Description: to allow organisations to increase the quality and relevance of their activities, to develop and reinforce their networks of partners, to increase their capacity to operate jointly at transnational level, boosting internationalisation of their activities and through exchanging or developing new practices and methods as well as sharing and confronting ideas; to support the development, transfer and/or implementation of innovative practices as well as the implementation of joint initiatives promoting cooperation, peer learning and exchanges of experience at European level. Results should be re-usable, transferable, up-scalable and, if possible, have a strong transdisciplinary dimension. Cooperation Partnerships aim at:

Eligible Organisations: Any public or private organisation, established in an EU Member State (as well as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Turkey, Serbia). Minimum 2 organisations from two different countries, no maximum number (main difference to Cooperation partnerships is the “newcomer” aspect).
Duration: between 6 and 24 months.
Available Grant: 30,000 or 60,000 (Applicants will choose between the two pre-defined amounts according to the activities they want to undertake and the results they want to achieve).
Location: all activities must take place in the countries of the organisations participating in the project.

Description: To attract and widen access for newcomers, less experienced organisations and small-scale actors to the programme. These partnerships should act as a first step for organisations into cooperation at European level; to support the inclusion of target groups with fewer opportunities; support active European citizenship and bring the European dimension to the local level.
