THE MEN’S QUALIFICATION ROUND ENDS UP WITH FLOHÉ AND MCARTHUR AT THE TOP

Day 1 of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Cup in Brixen, Italy, concluded with the men’s Boulder qualification round.

Germany’s Yannick Flohé placed first in group A with the score of five tops and five zones, followed by Fujii Kokoro of Japan – the only other climber with five and five. In group B, Hamish McArthur of Great Britain finished at the top of the ranking with three tops and five zones.

Alongside Fujii, Team Japan moved five more athletes into the semi-final round: Ogata Yoshiyuki, Kawamata Rei, Narasaki Tomoa, Inoue Yuji, and Narasaki Meichi.

The IFSC World Cup in Brixen will continue tomorrow: the women’s Boulder semi-final will begin at 11:00 AM (UTC+2:00), while the final is scheduled at 8:00 PM.
