JAPAN TAKES SIX SPOTS IN MEN’S BOULDER SEMI-FINAL

The men’s Boulder qualification round closed the program of the second-to-last competition day of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Cup in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

Sharing first place oin the qualification ranking, Japan’s Dohi Keita finished first in group A with five tops and five zones, while South Korea’s Lee Dohyun led group B, also with five tops and five zones.

Team Japan placed five more climbers in the semi-final round, alongside Dohi: Kawamata Rei, Fujii Kokoro, Inoue Yuji, Takata Tomoaki, and Ogata Yoshiyuki.

The men’s and women’s Boulder semi-final is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 AM (UTC-6:00). The women’s final will begin at 6:00, followed by the men’s one.
