PARACLIMBING QUALIFICATIONS CLOSED IN MOSCOW

The second day of Paraclimbing qualifications went down at the CSKA Sports Complex in Moscow, Russia, where the 2021 IFSC Climbing and Paraclimbing World Championships officially opened today.

In the two days of Paraclimbing qualifications, athletes were also requested to vote for their representative in the IFSC Paraclimbing Committee. Italy’s Lucia Capovilla won the election with a total of 43 votes. Other candidates included Eva Mol of Netherlands, who received 11 votes; Melissa Ruiz of the United States of America, who received 7 votes; and Denise Stypulkowski, also of the United States of America, who received 3 votes.

The IFSC Paraclimbing World Championships in Moscow, Russia, will conclude tomorrow with a schedule of 11 finals kicking off at 8:00 PM (UTC+3:00), and being live streamed on the IFSC YouTube channel.
