Following the men’s qualification earlier today in Meiringen, Switzerland, this afternoon saw the women take to the mats, with 70 athletes competing in the round.

Boulder World Champion Janja Garnbret, of Slovenia, cruised her way to the top of the results table, achieving five flashes and thus, a perfect score. Japan’s Akiyo Noguchi bagged five tops and five zones during the qualification, earning her a spot alongside Garnbret at the joint top of the table.

Switzerland’s Petra Klingler missed out on the semi-final by just one place, with Andrea Kümin being the only Swiss athlete to achieve a spot in the women’s semi-final on home soil.
