PROF. MARC LE MENESTREL TO CONDUCT INTERVIEWS FOR SECOND PART OF VOICES OF IFSC LEADERS
The Chair of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Ethics Commission Prof. Marc Le Menestrel started conducting interviews for the second part of Voices of IFSC Leaders today.
Voices of IFSC Leaders is a project launched in 2020 by Prof. Le Menestrel, redacted in collaboration with author and climber David Chambre and presented at last year’s XVI IFSC Plenary Assembly as a complement to the IFSC Strategic Plan 2020-2028.
To write the first part of Voices of IFSC Leaders, between May and August 2020 Prof. Le Menestrel conducted a series of interviews with IFSC Executive Board members, discussing their personal stories, challenges and resolutions. For the second edition, he will meet with representatives of various IFSC Member Federations, further shaping and defining the identity and the culture of the world governing body of Sport Climbing.
The National Federations that already scheduled their meeting with Dr Le Menestrel are Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Great Britain, Guatemala, Ireland, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Malta, Mauritius, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Sweden, Uganda, the United States of America and Venezuela.
