IFSC CONNECTED SPEED KNOCKOUT TO STREAM ON YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK AND WEIBO
This weekend, the inaugural IFSC Connected Speed Knockout presented by Japan Airlines will be streamed online, across the IFSC’s official social media channels.
A first of its kind, the event is set to feature over 50 athletes from nine different nationalities, competing in seven locations around the world. The pre-recorded event will be streamed as-live, with athletes competing head-to-head from afar in the later stages of the Knockout.
The event can be watched internationally via the IFSC’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page this Sunday, August 2 at 5.00pm (GMT+2). At this exact time, the clocks in Japan will change to August 3, which marks one year until Sport Climbing will make its debut at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
In China, the IFSC Connected Speed Knockout presented by Japan Airlines will stream on the IFSC official Weibo account, on August 3 at 12.00pm (GMT+8). The IFSC Weibo account was launched in May 2020 by Shanghai media production company Yahao Sports, with an aim to extend the coverage and reach of Sport Climbing in China.
