Penultimate Event of the 2019 IFSC World Cup Series to be Broadcast Internationally
The penultimate event of the 2019 IFSC World Cup series takes place in Xiamen, China this weekend, from 18-20th October. Featuring the final Speed World Cup of 2019 and the second-to-last round of the Lead events, the action in Xiamen is set to be broadcast both live and delayed-as-live around the world.
In Asia, the event is to be broadcast live by J Sports in Japan and in Korea, by Eclat. ESPN Latin America will air the event live in Latin America, with Eurosport Player providing live coverage across Europe. The IFSC World Cup Xiamen is set to gain international live coverage from the Olympic Channel, as with each event so far in the IFSC World Cup series 2019.
Delayed-as-live broadcasting will kick off on Sunday 20th October from 4-6pm in the USA, courtesy of NBC, then in France from 8-10pm on Equipe. CCTV in China and Vietnamese channel FPT are also scheduled to offer delayed coverage of the event and in Japan, NHK will produce a highlights show of the IFSC World Cups Xiamen and Inzai.
Sport Climbing fans can also tune in via the IFSC YouTube channel, where the event will be streamed live and then following the event, will be made available to watch on demand.
