WHAT THEY SAID:
Matthew Rodriguez (CAN) – men’s Under 20
“My qualification was good. The third climb was really hard, and I also kind of screwed up the slab climb, but I liked that round. I felt good, I felt the heat a little for the second round but overall it felt good.”
Selma Elhadj Mimoune (FRA) – women’s Under 20
“Qualification was good but I found the format a bit hard for me and stressed me a little bit. You have to warm up, do three boulders, then cool down, then warm up again and do three more boulders. I found that stressful.”
