MEN’S BOULDER & LEAD SEMI-FINAL TO FEATURE FIVE JAPANESE CLIMBERS

The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) World Championships Bern 2023 is not only awarding world title in all Climbing disciplines, but it will also serve as the first qualification event for the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The ranking of the men’s Boulder & Lead event, following finals in both single disciplines, includes a full range of five Japanese athletes, led by 16-year-old Sorato Anraku in first place, and enlisting Tokyo 2020 Olympian Tomoa Narasaki and former Boulder World Cup winner Yoshiyuki Ogata.

The men’s Boulder & Lead semi-final is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 9 August: the Boulder round will start at 1:00 PM (UTC+2:00), while the Lead one will start at 20:30.
