When you started competing in international competitions, did you see yourself being in the top-10?
I have always hoped to be part of the top ten, I'm really glad all my work has paid off and I hope it doesn't stop here!
What motivated you to compete rather than just to climb outside?
Overachievement, competing teaches you a lot about yourself! And of course winning titles.
What are some struggles you face as an athlete?
Climbing is not an acknowledged sport and financial benefits are minimal. I have to work on the side in order to make a living. I hope climbing will become professional, it would make things easier.
What influenced you to start competing?
I was given the opportunity to go to a competition when I was 8 years old, I found it so awesome, I never stopped.
Who most helped you get to where you are right now?
My family and friends play an important role in my results. Every trainer I've had since I started and the French climbing federation.
What advice could you give to Young Athletes?
Be ambitious and invest yourselfs to achieve your goals. It's very important that you find pleasure in what you do.
- I love spending time with my family and friends
