When you started competing in international competitions, did you see yourself being in the top-10?
It was hardly tough to enter in semi-final round. Everything was ambiguous to be in top-ten and even a member for final round. However, I believe I can be a final member if If I put my untiring effort and concentration.
What motivated you to compete rather than just to climb outside?
After 5 months of climbing at first time, I entered in domestic competition of climbing for fun. On competition, I saw one of the legendary climber; Jain Kim and felt she is so awesome. Then It made me have a will to be a great climber like her in Korea.
What are some struggles you face as an athlete?
I do not think it is easy to take control of “eating” habits. It is always challengeable for me because I love eating too much.
Who most helped you get to where you are right now?
It is no doubt to mention that it is my parents. They helped me to find out what I desired to do by various experiences and believed what I made a decision with their deep understanding and dedicated scarification since I was young. They only just worried that climbing is not popular sport but not my future. They led me concentrate to do climbing with a deepening belief for me.
What advice could you give to Young Athletes?
I cannot give any advice to young climbers because they are already professionals. Only thing I can give an advice is to prevent any injuries and keep climbing with passion.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
My favorite habit is Food eating tours because I am used to enjoy eating!
