When you started competing in international competitions, did you see yourself being in the top-10?
When I was little I was only training lead, but then I started competing on European youth cups in bouldering and I could imagine myself being one of the best in the future, but definitely not that soon.
What motivated you to compete rather than just to climb outside?
For me it was always first competing then rock climbing. On competitions I like the excitement, nervousness before them, people, travelling...but after long competition season it feels so good going outside.
What are some struggles you face as an athlete?
No “free” time. I don’t have much time for my family and friends, but I wouldn’t choose it other way.
What influenced you to start competing?
All of my team mates were already competing so I joined them.
Who most helped you get to where you are right now?
My parents and my brother. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
What advice could you give to Young Athletes?
Never give up and always have fun.
What are some of your favourite hobbies?
Spending time with my family
