World Games 2017

logo-wroclaw-host-city-twg2017The IFSC is a member of the International World Games Association and therefore takes part in the World Games scheduled every four years.

The World Games 2017 will take place in Wroclaw (POL) from 20th to 30th July.

For the first time in the World Games, Sport Climbing will be present with all three disciplines: 72 Athletes (24 per discipline) will have the unique chance to compete in bouldering, lead and speed.

Youth Olympic Games 2018


The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board added Sport Climbing to the Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The YOG will take place in Buenos Aires (ARG) from 6th - 18th October 2018.

To be eligible to participate in the Youth Olympic Games, Athletes must have been born between 1 January 2000 and 31 December 2001.
